Jay Porter

I’m Convivy’s founder. I build our products and our tools, including Convivy Builder, our agentic development platform.

I started as a software engineer and technical communicator, and later held technical leadership roles at Salesforce and Meta. For about twelve years I owned and operated restaurants in San Diego and Oakland (The Linkery, El Take It Easy and The Half Orange), with teams of up to sixty people. I like helping people thrive at their jobs, and building tools that let that happen.

I also run short-term rental properties, which is where Vivy came from.
